Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand, and I can move the world. —Archimedes
Have you ever felt stuck? Perhaps you're in a state of languishing - not worsening, but not improving either. I have. It seems like we need Archimedes' lever to break free.
Let's consider Archimedes' quote metaphorically to see if we can pry ourselves from this stagnation.
Our gift can be our lever, and where we use it is our place to stand.
The Japanese concept of Ikigai poses four questions to help us move towards the sweet spot of our lives: What am I good at? What do I love to do? Once we answer these two questions, we've likely found our lever. The next question is: What does the world need? Finding where the world needs our gifts is discovering where to stand.
Once we’ve found our lever and a place to stand, we have a reason to get out of bed every morning and greet the day enthusiastically and purposefully.

Awesome, Pat! Loved this! Will definitely need to tink tink tink on it! ❤️
